• Tilbrook Estate Pinot Gris 2014

LAST 5 BOTTLES! Aromas of bruised pear, pineapple and honey follow through to the palate which has a soft and mellow mouthfeel but with crisp acidity to balance.

The grapes were hand picked from Mum’s Block on our Estate vineyard. My mother helped me plant this block, when she was 75! The grapes were chilled overnight then whole bunch pressed. The juice was settled for 24 hours and then the clear juice was “racked”. Fermentation in larger oak casks was followed by 11 months on the yeast remnants (lees), like the best wines of Alsace.

40 cases hand made.  Screwcap
